Overview:

Shop Floor management in the context of high quality and productivity is always perceived as a real challenge for Managers and Executives in Manufacturing. Leveraging for lean production operations involves meeting high levels of customer demands and expectations in terms of cost and delivery schedules.

Effective Shop Floor Management involves strategic application of a host of management tools and techniques to harness the optimum potential of available workforce and efficiencies of operational systems. Contemporary tools to achieve total quality in manufacturing and final product have become all the more relevant as well as mandatory.

Facilitator Profile: 

V. Vidyasagar is a Corporate Trainer and Management Consultant. He has been a Trainer for in-house training programmes of leading companies like Air India, Airport Authority of India, Neyveli Lignite Corporation, BSNL, Indian Oil, Chennai Petroleum, TAFE, TI Cycles, India Pistons, Godrej, Chennai Metro, Wipro, Balmer Lawrie and Apollo Hospitals.

He is a certified Master Trainer from Thames Valley University, London, U.K and Singapore Productivity Association. With a basic degree in Mechanical Engineering, he possesses an M. Tech qualification from I. I. T Delhi and a Ph.D in Operations Management.

V. Vidyasagar has experience of conducting more than 3000 workshops and training programmes for Corporates and leading Business Schools. He is also a Visiting Faculty for a number of reputed educational institutions across South India.
