Overview:

In this information driven world, communication both within organizations and with external clients is becoming increasingly monotonous and is seldom inspiring. Increasing number of meetings and presentations in a day’s routine is something that both sides do not simply like. These sessions are hardly effective and hardly elicit desired responses or actions. Even one-to-one communications of managers with the associates lack the emotional element and are often repetitive queries on work progress and deadline.

It is an irony to note that many business professionals are either hesitant or not competent enough to script effective stories from real life incidents.

Even Sales Personnel are not seen using stories to make winning product/company pitch simply because they are not competent to script stories from experiences

TRAINER PROFILE

Mr S Y Kumar is a certified Global Facilitator for Situational Leadership® (by The Center for Leadership Studies, USA) - a framework that is used by 70% of Fortune 500 companies in over 35 countries. Over 14 million managers have been trained on the Situational Leadership® Model.

Kumar is fluent and efficient in designing, structuring and delivering training courses tailor-made to suit different target learner groups and their varying needs. With his over 31 years’ professional experience, equally in India and abroad, he easily adapts to different training scenarios such as a trainer, a coach, a facilitator or a moderator depending on the actual training need and the target learner group.

Kumar is a graduate engineer with post-graduation in management. His qualifications include PGDMM, Project Management Professional (PMP), and Master Diploma in Training from IATD and Professional Trainer Certification in Experiential Learning.

His primary focus areas of training has been Attitude-building, Custom-designed interventions such as Managerial Leadership, Influencing Skills, Leading the Millennial workforce, Customer Centricity, Customer Experience Ownership, Leadership for High-performance teams, Extra-ordinary Selling, Negotiation Skills, etc.
